Mrs. Wigley holds a Bachelor in Music Education from UTA with a major in vocal performance, minor in piano, and has her certifications in Kodaly Pedagogy Levels I, II, and III from Sam Houston State University, as well as World Music Drumming I, taught by Will Schmid, the founder of the curriculum for World Music Drumming. She taught elementary music for 12 years in the Arlington and Mansfield school districts. Bridgett has directed and accompanied many church and school choirs for over 35 years, and her students have performed all over the state of Texas. In the summer of 2016, three of her students performed with Texas Choral Director's Association's Elementary Honor Choir in San Antonio. This elite group of students were chosen from more than 800 auditions that were submitted online. The three students were selected to be part of a 150 member chorus from all throughout the state of Texas. One of the greatest honors of her career was being chosen as one of five elementary choirs to perform at the Texas Music Educator's Conference in February, 2022.
Bridgett performs as well as is a former board member with The Arlington Master Chorale, which recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. In June 2019, Mrs. Wigley performed with AMC on tour in Barcelona and Paris.
Bridgett performed in the 2016 Texas Choral Director's Association, Director's chorus, directed by Grammy-winning composer and conductor, Eric Whitacre, accompanied by the US Air Force Band of the West. This chorus was comprised of only 100 directors from various regions in the state of Texas.
In 2011, Bridgett was a finalist for the Bayard H. Friedman Hero in the Classroom Award, and in 2012-13 was named Teacher of the Year at Martha Reid Elementary. She is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association as well as Texas Choral Director's Association. Mrs. Wigley is servant minded, so it is no surprise that she and her daughter love being a part of National Charity League Burleson/Mansfield Chapter. NCL is a philanthropic organization that fosters mother-daughter bonding while focusing on community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.
Bridgett married her high school sweetheart, and they have two beautiful children, as well the sweetest miniature schnauzer & 2 mischievous cats.
Nathan Gepanaga: Assistant Director
Mr. Gepanaga is a graduate from Texas Christian University and holds a degree in Music Education. He performed with various ensembles on campus including Frog Corps, University Singers, and the Concert Chorale. He had the opportunity to perform with the TCU Concert Chorale at TMEA in 2018 and 2023, SWACDA in 2020 and National ACDA in 2023. Mr. Gepanaga was also involved in an acapella group called The Horned Tones. During his time with the group, they were named the ICCA South West Semi-finalists in 2020, 2022 and were also Quarterfinal Champs in 2022. The group also released an album (Lost and Found) in June of 2023 where Mr. Gepanaga is a featured soloist on one of the tracks, My Everything. Mr. Gepanaga was also involved in many other organizations on campus including Music Educators Association, Mu Phi Epsilon, and the TCU School of Music’s DEI Initiative. Mr. Gepanaga is also an active member of TMEA and is an experienced adjudicator in both the all-state process for high school and region auditions for middle school.
Aside from teaching, Mr. Gepanaga is also the Worship Coordinator for Student Ministries at Arborlawn United Methodist Church. He is also the Co-Choir Director of RISE Children’s Choir and sings with the Chancel Choir at AUMC.
On Mr. Gepanaga’s free time he likes to draw, play his guitar and play video games!
